I made a lot of videos for InVue explaining the features and benefits of their extraordinary products. I had talked to the VP of sales and he thought his team needed a dramatic video that explained who the company was, and what made them absolutely unique in the industry.

The company owner had difficulty visualizing a video like that. I spent time after hours putting together a rough video with some of my ideas, using phrases the owner had used to describe what the company did.

While the video project did not move forward, I use this as an example of how I sketch out an initial idea. I think in design it can be good to push boundries of what is the original scope or idea of a project, and then pull back if requested.
